Nature Play Pumpkin Day!

Saturday, October 26, 2013, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM 2 hours

Coastkeeper is hosting a Nature Play Pumpkin Day at the Coastkeeper Garden. This free event is a part of the Coastkeeper Garden’s continued encouragement of children to be active and enjoy the outdoors. All Orange County children and parents are invited to attend. Nature Play Pumpkin Day will offer children and parents the opportunity to enjoy decorating and painting pumpkins while playing together in the outdoors. Over 100 children and parents are anticipated to attend the event. Free pumpkins will be available, while as supplies last. No RSVPs required and costumes are welcome. The event will take place at the Coastkeeper Garden located at Santiago Canyon College in the City of Orange.

The purpose of the Coastkeeper Garden’s Nature Play Garden is to get kids engaged with the outdoors and exploring natural elements. Nature Play Pumpkin Day is just one event that encourages children to explore this space, become engaged with nature, use their imaginations, fine-tune their motor skills, and just be kids enjoying the great outdoors. The greater space of the Coastkeeper Garden offers a place for parents to explore for themselves as it is also Orange County’s largest California Friendly® demonstration garden.

This event is sponsored by Homes by Kathy Wren and Alpine Mortgage Planning.
